What? This is crazy. They are talking about adding Pluto and its moon Charon as both induvidual planets and another planet further out there. Check it out.

I seriously think it is to weird to be changing everything now. Tell what you guys think about it. Surpris

It didn't work. I think Pluto is a planet, and there is a known tenth planet about the size of Mercury discovered 3 years ago, but Chraon??? If anything other than a moon, Charon is an asteroid. And what's with the eleventh planet?

By the way i understand it the Eleventh Planet would be Charon Pluto's moon. I think they want to make Charon and Pluto two induvidual planets. Also the other planet they discovered beyond pluto. I also read that they are debating whether to take Pluto off its Planet status and make it a dwarf planet and so on. It is so weird I think they sahould just leave everything alone

One of my old science teacher's was talking about a tenth planet about 11 years ago, which had been nicknamed something like Smillie.

Slightly changing the subject has anyone seen Mars recently?

Oh here's something I just found http://news.uk.msn.com/good_week_bad_week_180806.aspx?imageindex=8#811431

Pluto is a planet, for a while in the late 90s it was the 8th planet closest to the sun. I read all this last week. Apparently one of the new planets was going to be called "persephone"! Sooner or later, they'll be re-classed as planet's. Once we begin to get bored of sending satellites to Pluto they'll pass that proposal and have 4 brand new planets to study.

I agree with maybe 11 planets; adding Ceres and 2003 UB-313. But not Charon...

Adding all these new planets will mess up the song of how we can all remember them.

That ryme could have a bunch of different words to it and now they are going to mess it up by changing everything Pleure JK. No not really I don't care as long as they keep Pluto a planet I don't care. Cool

I never had to remember that song... or... riddle... or... whatever the crap it is! I already knew my planets by the second grade... but this may make it a bit more interesting yet confusing.
