Do they have a big walk-in fridge and freezer? When I worked up in the kitchen in my last job, that's where I'd try and be most of the time.

Today we've had most of the windows and the backdoor open, but sometimes there's a quick gust of wind particularly when someone opens the front door. I went out somewhere for a little while to buy something. On my way out the door I hadn't quite got all the way out and as I turned to grab the door to close it it slammed. I hadn't quite got my arm out of the way and it closed on one of my fingers Pleure, which I'm surprised didn't break with the force of the door. I have two small cuts, but it doesn't hurt that much now. It is still a little sore.

Also today we've had two very brief downpoors, which I was going to stand out in one but missed as they were so brief. I thought we'd have a thunderstorm because dark clouds were forming and it's got quite windy. Not a very cool wind though, it's still quite humid. The dark clouds have gone, but there's still a slight overcast.

We've got a 2 or 3 ant's nests in our back garden, which my mum has been trying to get rid of. One is right outside our backdoor.

OUCH! that must've hurt Triste i hate ants. they always come in our house when it's hot. but this year they haven't as much cuz we've been spraying the house alot. hopefully they're getting the picture that they are NOT welcome at all!!!

I got to be one of the ones who accepted the deliveries, put things away and sorted and tidied the storage areas. I use to spend porbably about 15-30 minutes putting things away in one area and sorting them particularly the freezer stuff. Was lovely during the summer, but not so lovely in the winter. I'd try and spend as little time as possible during winter in the cold areas because of course they're like walking into a big icecube and you feel like you've been slapped. We weren't supposed to but I'd often wear a heavy fleece.

Does anyone hate seeing snow or ice related ads? I do as they make me feel even hotter Triste!

Oh, man... this thread made me look at the temperature right now out of curiosity... Daaang... I didn't even realize it was 312.1 K. (102.2 F...)---In my room. >.<;;; Wow... O.o;;; Whatever it is OUTSIDE, I don't want to know. O.o;;; Man, I wish it would cool off... I miss the 294 K days...

At least it's not like the day before yesterday... it was 319.8 K (116 F) in my room. My TV didn't work anymore at that point. X_x;;;

K Confused, you must be the only one here measuring in K Surpris. Man I should've paid more attention in science class. I can't even get by in farenheit. I've forgotten what K freezing point is can someone please remind me.

Blimey. Your tv even felt the heat Surpris.

Freezing point in K is 273 K. ^^

Am I really the only one...? K is normal for me to use, but my mom doesn't get it, sadly. Dang. O.o;;; Jeeze... I only understand F and K... O.o;;; C is the one that confuses me... I'm too lazy to subtract the 273 from K to get it. xD I'm bad at math. LOL!

And yup... It's workin' a little O-K now, but I'm gonna have to go use a different one to record the two things I wanna catch to-night, that I'll die if I miss. >.<;;; Errr... not DIE per se, but be very, very sad. -_-;;;
