K so I have been getting these really nasty e-mails latly and it is like they wont stop coming. Its like a newsletter type thing but their isn't anyway to get off their list. I have them in bulk now and i even tried putting some of the names in my block list but it isn't working. Any suggestions at how I can completly get rid of these sick e-mails?

If it gets really bad you might have to change your e-mail address and tell everyone about it Triste
I'd recommend Gmail, since their spam folder is really good.

If you're using a free e-mail account like Yahoo! or GMail, your options are rather limited: add the address to the block list, activate the spam filter, and report the site using the "this is spam" button, so that the service providers can track them. Other than that... besides, it sounds like they are using a fake address generator, which makes the spam detecting algorythms to fail.

If you're using an e-mail client like Outlook, you should be able to create a rule to send to the spam folder all the emails except those coming from people in your address book.

If these don't work, I'm afraid the only real way to get rid of those unwanted messages is changing your email from time to time.

I would send a report to the e-mail provider's abuse department. Hopefully they pay attention to those kind of reports and will take action. Send them an explanation with a copy of the offensive message plus the e-mail address it came from.

Hopefully this helps!

While email is now widely accepted, it's just an embryonic stage in the next five years will have completely new communication forms that more directly and efficiently developed to suit the needs of businesses and Goldman organizations. In case represents, at this point, it's all about perception as the federal government to reform Wall Street strengthens its position.

Ha I totally forgot about this post. I couldn't even remember when that happened and once in awhile it will come up in conversations. I never did tell any of you how I got it resolved. I just simply changed my password. My account must have gotten hacked into.

For reasons like this I have decided to further my education and get into ITT Tech or something like that so I can work on computers. I am so tired of feeling absolutely helpless when my parents computer is "sick".

I'm just curious, do you use a program like Outlook, Entourage, Thunderbird, or Eudora to deal with email? What I do is I leave all my email in the server and work with it through its website (the "webmail" option). I just think it's a more secure process that way. Fier

I think ITT charges way too much for what they offer. You should be able to get the same training through a JC, and i wouldn't be surprised if you could find an MSIE course there. Trs content Just my 2

No I just use Yahoo and recently Gmail.

Really? I have just heard about ITT Tech. and thought that would be something to look into. I was thinking I could charge fairly but maybe not? Surpris I have no idea exactly what I want to do with it just work on computers. What would be some good programs to get into for that? I was thinking a Bachelors in something. I'm getting my AA now so next step is Bachelors. I still have a couple of years of school left though, so I have some time to figure out what I want to do. Cool
