I listen mostly to heavy metal and punk. Some of my favs include Iron Maiden, Slayer, Dio, The Casualties, GBH, GG Allin, etc. And certain classic rock, like Zeppelin.

In my case it depends on my mood at the moment. I'm a bit eclectic when it comes to music: I can enjoy almost everything from classic music to hard rock and everything in between... but no latin music for me, please! Tire la langue

I like this station very much (thanks, Knoodelhed!) http://cbsplayer.streamtheworld.com/?CALLSIGN=KRTHFM

Also, this is a local station from where I live; no high-quality broadcasting available, though. But they have a very nice segment called "The Beatles club", every day at 8:00 CST. Very recommendable if you like them.

The plugs for Torchwood are annoying, especially as they say "Angleterre" instead of "Grande Bretagne"!

We were talking about Cyndi Lauper in another thread and that reminds me last years french "pop idol" winner : Christophe Willem ! He's a really good singer and one of the sond he sang was "True color".

You don't know how lucky you are living in Europe....Mika is on TV and touring there CONSTANTLY and her is actually KNOWN. Triste

I did get to see him this summer (during my "break")....went to Good Morning America in NYC on August 10th with my aunt and sister...it was raining and he was sopossed to perform in a park, but instead he was in a studio (that could only fit 30 people in it Pfff ). But I could see him through the glass and it was fun meeting the American fans who came to se him (there were LOTS).

Then, a few people began gathering at the side entrance. Mika was going to exit from there! So, I got as close as I can in the pouring rain, umbrellas everywhere, and he began walking out the door. was in total shock and aww....LOL....snapped some REALLY good shots. and NO LIE, SWEAR TO GOD he was about 6 feet away from he and I gave him a wave and he GAVE ME EYE CONTACT and nodded back....OH MY .... GOD, I was in complete shock for the rest of the day.

here are some of the pics, in case you are interested (ha ha!)

8-10-07 AMAZING DAY I WILL NEVER FORGET!!!!! Très content Très content Bravo Bravo Fier Embarassé Cool Rire Surpris Triste

Oh, and sorry for talking about Mika. Tire la langue
