Mike2000, you've got company.

I was YouTube uploading my latest videos, when I discovered that my very first video, a tribute to Hey Arnold! (uploaded on the exact 10th anniversary of the show's premiere, I might add), was blocked for copyright infringement.

Said video was effectively a slide show consisting of stills (not vids, but STILLS) from various episodes, set to a pleasant, non-HA!, musical soundtrack. And yet they called copyright infringement on it.

A few days later, I also got several automated emails from YouTube saying that many of my vids showing differences between the two different English dubs of Winx Club were blocked because 4Kids Entertainment (they produce one of the dubs, the one that airs in the US) called copyright infringement on those videos. And yet they left my AMVs alone... do they REALLY not want people to see the differences?

That is just ridiculous to block copyrighted material from a show that doesn't air anymore...

We do have a very good explanation for that in this very forum; just read this thread.

Why let YouTube get money from the old shows, if Viacom can sell them directly through iTunes store??
