One of our networks have done similar with I can't remember if it was cartoons, childrens programs or both but I'm pretty sure it was the childrens programs. Actually now I think of it it could be both as I'm pretty sure South Park and the Simpsons were included in a top 100 poll they did, so they must've done the cartoons also. Would anyone like me to see if I could find the list links if possible and if they're still available for to get some ideas for what was chosen?

I'd probably reacon all internationally known ones. So if they're are any outside the US that are known and popular around the world then yes, but if they are only popular inside their originating countries then no, because they probably wont have been heard of anywhere else.
