A lot of people did. My best-friends older brother said when MTV switched over from head-banging metal to rap in 1995 he said that's when it started to go down hill. Though, he says that because he doesn't like rap. I think it started down hill when it started showing reality TV. Embarassť

2002 (Osbourne launch) is what I say. Even though I'll admit watching The Osbournes and some other MTV reality shows, I do say it attributed to thier downfall. Before the Osbournes, sure they had shows, but they had SOMETHING to do with MUSIC. I miss watching "Backstage Pass Week", thier concerts, Dairy, Biorhythm, Becoming, Say What! Karaoke, 2ge+her, etc, etc.

Shows that I watch occasionally on MTV today:
-Made
-True Life
-My Super Sweet Sixteen
-TRL
-The Real World
-Little Talent Show (SO sad they took this off after like 2 weeks. Triste )

lmao on the lame-ass gameshows, though. They are so freakin horrible it's funny to watch because you think to yourslef "is MTV REALLY trying to pass this show off as being real?" Especially NEXT and Date My Mom.

Now you see, I think The Osbournes completely changed my view of MTV. Before, I used to see it as Music Video channel only, but after The Osbournes it started to feel like more of a channel I'd watch regularly. I thought Room Raiders was good to begin with, but they hardly ever show that anymore and when they do it's usually some weird spin-off version that's nothing like the original Room Raiders.

I remember Nick UK once went through a period of showing nothing but MTV's Becoming and Biggest Fan huh What was all that about?

That is strange. Especially with the MTV lgo being in the logos of the show (I would assume the name "MTV" was mentioned in the show's ep aswell).

Did Nick UK ever show music videos of popular artists? Nick US was like that for about 4 years, with thier NVP (Nick Video Pick) nominees that would ALWAYS play throguhout the week. Some of the time, it was popular, mainstream artsits (I remember seeing Pink, Stacie Orrico, Michelle Branch to name a few) - but it was mostly teeny-pop kids songs.

There was a chart show called The N List, but it was in 2000. The Xmas #1 "JCB Song" was featured quite heavily on Nickelodeon last year.

But NICK U.S have aired some MTV things aswell, like I remember when they aired MTV's going behind the scenes on Hilary Duff's concert or something on TEENICK.

I believe that was All Access and that show was from The-N. It wasn't on TEENick for that long.

Anyone remember the show FANatic on MTV? It was where people got to meet their favorite celebs and interview them. I thought that was a cool show.

Oh yeah, FANatic - that's it. I got it mixed up with "The Biggest Fan", a movie that's on Nick UK all the time.

Also don't forget, one of Nick UK's long-time presenter's used to be in the chart topping band Girl Thing! And then there was Anna Kumble, aka Lolly, who hosted Control Freaks alongside Kenzie, aka... um, Jackie Stallone's toyboy?!

And let me guess you also watch E! (No disrespect to anyone who watches E! because I do occasionally) and read the National Enquirer!
