Triste

The story is that he had been handling a stingray, who later stung him in his chest. Not the wisest thing to be doing, but his art was to get up close and personal with the animals he presented.

Indeed.
Everyone at school, including me, was incredibly shocked. It's practically all we talked about. Even my chiropodist was so surprised.
It's the most shocking death in ages!

Crikey!

He was a cool animal guy. But I think many people had a feeling it would happen sooner or later.

I just read this it is so sad. When did it happen over there? I can't figure that out was it yesterday our time or did it just happen like a couple hrs. ago? It's still so weird that it was a stingray out of al the strange things he has gotten close to

Yeah I agree. I feel he had been very lucky that nothing like that had happened before as what he did had contained very high risks. i feel sad for his poor young family he left behind. I'm surprised it was from a stingray though. He was a really bubbly character like when I last saw him on I think either The Tonight Show or Late Night (I can't remember which) which really cracked me up.

Even though many people would say "oh, it would happen sooner or later" probubly never thought it would actually HAPPEN! I'm really just shocked and overwelmed about the news. I mean, he was such a big figure in the entertainment industry and it's just so sudden. I feel bad for his wife and two kids as well (one who is like 2 years old Triste ). So sad. RIP!

His youngest was Bob, apparently.

They're planning on using his death as an example not to swim above stingrays. Nice, why don't you do this BEFORE this happened when 16 other people were stung. Because he was famous. Fou

It's not even 24 hours ago. That's the worst part.

(BTW, avaitor, we have crocodiles, not alligators. Otherwise he'd be the Aligator Hunter.)
