You haven't been on some of the the trains in my area then. I still prefer car the most due to all my public transport experiences.

My sister-in-law has movies of when she and my nephew were in Hong Kong and she was telling me about the rail network from one of the movies. She was saying that the trains she went on were free, clean, spacious, AC and I think had a tv. they are also comfortable. beats our ones anyday.

My Transport order:

Car - can stop as and when you want to, Well depending on who you're travelling with, choice of radio, cd/tape, or silence, choice of ways in someplaces.
Train - when not busy with screaming kids and annoying teenagers.
Coach - usually crowded, particularly if a pre-booked outing. Lovely if there's not many passengers.
Plane - when there's no problems and am i the only one whos had nearly all positive experiences with airline foods?. I wouldn't like to fly at the moment, unless I fly in a private jet. Also flying makes my legs ache and long hauls make me bored.
Bus - mixture of BAD and good experinces. Bad include drivers, punctuality, cleanliness, not so Fair Prices [sp intent], punctuality, passengers, courtiousness, journey taking longer than it should, some stop locations, diversions, comfort?, temperature. Good include some drivers, gets from A-B, at the moment I can't think of much else if anything.
Ferry/cruiseship - Can't say much as I've only been on two ferry's when I was about 5. Anyway from what I understand is they have the most legroom and you can move about freely. Basically like an on water hotel. Not so great if there's a major storm or you suffer sea sickness. From some of the bad experiences I've heard of it's probably a good idea to take your own food and drinks/water with you.
Walking - I have to be in the right move and motivated. great if your fit and very good for you. Not great if it's raining or cold especially if you decided to leave your coat and umbrella at home. I don't walk if I have loads of shopping.

Ones I haven't used or been on
Bike/motorbike/moped - Bikes like walking are great for fitness and are good for you. Like walking not good if it's raining if you don't have a coat and also how do you hold up an umbrella? I can't ride a bike or motorbike. They're both dangerous on a lort of roads to themselves and car drivers especially if they're not easily visable. Motorbikes can beat queues though but sometimes with a risk.
Hovercraft - sounds interesting
Helicopter - Another interesting one. Looks a bit cramped and very noisy though.

That's all I can think of.

Anyway I hope you two have fun at Disneyland Knoodelhed.

Good luck. I think I must be the one of the only ones not going away at all this year for any period of time Pleure.

I think I'm taking my crappy laptop back to the shop today so I might not be online for a while.

It will cost £200 to fix the clicking button and 3 USB ports on a £400 laptop. Right huh
The warranty we have doesn't cover anything apart from the hard drive. Guess what? The warranty was £200.

That's a real shame. I managed to get my old broken laptop replaced by a new model on our house insurance for only £75.

Triste
The laptop is back at the shop and I'll probably not get it back for a week. So I'll be on my brother's computer occasionally until then.

Disney traitor! Only Kidding.

Steam engines are quite majestic and fun, but they hardly ever run...until I start a company, that is! Sourire

Current trains are extremly good. Guess it depends. Do you have loco-hauled or railmotors?

Good I'm glad. California right? I always get the two muddled between which is where as in California and Florida no matter how many times people tell me which is which, I always forget. Did you go to California Adventure? I wanted to go because my dad found a park hopper ticket someone had dropped and we'd only got the Disneyland park tickets. He tried to talk the people into letting him have another ticket, because most of the rides were down. Eventually he managed to get one, but by the time he got back to us it was not far off closing time Triste, so I still didn't get to go.

Hey guys!

You might have noticed that I've been away for a little while. I've spent two weeks with friends in Greece(Crete), I've been to a friend in The Hague for one week, and I've had some problems with my internet...

Anyway, I'm back in business Clin d'oeil !
