Ow. I'm a few years to late Pleure.

Thanks bearbear Sourire.

Oh I try to avoid Google like the plague, after what I read somewhere about them.

I can't remember exactly, but I think it was something about privacy invading and that they know all your searching habits or something like that.

^Yep, that's GMail for ya. I've yet to find people going through my trash yet so I ... Did I just type trash? Ugh, I mean I have not got anyone going through my rubbish yet so I think I'm safe.

I always take extra precautions of what I throw in the rubbish bin, what goes in the recycling and what gets shredded for hamsters and gerbils. but then you could say I'm also paranoid, but I always think it's better to be overcautious and safe then take risks and not be secure. I do however believe I possibly got one email address hacked until I started forwarding my mail to another address.

As long as you have Google Desktop, Gmail, etc. options set properly, there shouldn't be a problem with them invading your privacy. Sourire

That's what I thought, but I'm sure I've seen a couple of sites which I don't think the owners have paid to be listed. I guess then it's all down to popularity. Hmm I wonder if Sarah had to pay to have the Shrine listed, or is it due to popularity/traffic? Just wondering!

I didn't have to pay to have it listed, but I did submit my information to Google and other engines in the past. I think I get on search engines fairly easily because my site is on umich.edu, a university's domain, and all of their pages get indexed quite often.

Gmail is an excellent e-mail provider. Their junk filter is great.

Hair question...I usually just tend to find new braiding manuevers to putting it up. There are so many interesting ways to braid one's hair Tire la langue

Search engines...long ago and far away I submitted a site to Yahoo, way back in 2000 I believe. I don't know how much the policies have changed since then as I haven't listed a site with them since then.

Garlic smell...have you tried vinegar? That stuff's potent enough to kill ant colonies and clean kitchens. But it does stink though Confused

Gmail...got that. Set up the account back during BETA testing. My dad sent me the invite. I only use it for storage though Tire la langue

Question: How does everyone here deal with overdemanding, bossy siblings? My sister has a terrible temper, and an overactive mouth. She spouts whatever comes to mind--even if she doesn't think it through before saying. It's like she thinks she's always right, and that irks me Fou

yeah, that's what i was thinking except i don't know how to braid except the regular way or french braid. and french braid is hard to do on your own hair.

Just a bit of advice to anyone really do not have small tight braids in your hair if it's blonde and thin, well thin anyway as it could very much damage the roots, if you know the kinds of braids I'm talking of!

yes, i know. i wouldn't do those anyway, cuz if i ever put a small braid in my hair, hair sticks out of the braid since the ends of my hair are so broken and uneven lol. it looks ridiculous.

I don't tend to do small braids all that much. I remeber when my sis had hers done in small braid while in the Bahamas back in 2002 (I actually watched a couple fave eps of Rocket Power while there Tire la langue ), and she had a "lot of fun" trying to get them out. I think the same applied to the step sibs.

I've mastered geting the braids to be organized, no stray hairs for the most part. They tend to be of medium size, and I get a couple braided strands together and tie them up with loos hair to form a semi ponytail. Keeps those starnds of pesky hair that refuse to stay in a ponytail from roaming free, and it isn't a bad hair statement either Rire

Vinegar: A place I hang out at practically worships the stuff. It's the best cleaning agent as far as they're concerned. It's better then cleaning with bleach or sopured milk anyways Clin d'oeil
