Channel 4 got in trouble because of the amount of adverts during Lost, didn't they?

well teachers fall into two or should I say three categories. Cool, sad and horrid. I had my fare share of each. One teacher made us watch the Simpson's when we were supposed to be watching Macbeth and said at the end of one episode that was our Macbeth. personally I still to this day can't work out the connection, but then she was weired. Oh I forgot that's another category that some fall into.

Looking at one TV guide Everwood is tomorrow's pick of the day. It looks like they're trying to see if Home and Away can be as good yet alone beat it!

There's now the latest that TV Land is speeding up their TV programs even faster than before, to a point where loyal fans are noticing it:

http://www.radio-info.com/smf/index.php/topic,45329.0.html

Is TV Land that desperate (and impatient) for ad time?

"Take me to TV land?" Better change that to "Get me outta here!"

I can take a song being sped up on radio, but when TV starts doing it, it not only makes the sound seem unatural, but the movements of the people seem out of wack. I've noticed this "show speed up" before on many channels and shows and it sucks. I cannot watch the programming with it spead up like that. I hope this plan backfires on TV Land (hopefully, it's regular viewers will notice and take action).

They'd probably never be allowed to do this on UK TV.

yeah and sometimes it's very hard to keep up with a show when commercials come on so I loved it when I got my High School Musical dvd so I could follow better and I hate when I'm watching TV and its something sad and then they break for commercial and its a cheerful peppy commercial ya know? sorta breaks the mood with me

Or if you're watching something and it there's a tension or suspense build up, that sort of ruins the tension. A couple of game shows have a habit of breaking at a very tense moment such as right before someone does something important like give an important answer to a big question.

Though, that's what keeps people watching. "Did that guy get the answer right!? Find out after the break!" Triste
