If I lived in England or America or Ireland or basically anywhere else I'd get my birthday off every year Triste

My school ends on the 26th. The only things I can think of is be in a Drama Camp and go to Texas to see my brother. We might celebrate my birthday there which is on June 28. Well, at least there will be on school till then. Bravo I can't wait until the summer. Sourire It will be hard enough going back to school. Pleure

I use to hate school, my favourite day was the day I left, but then I went to college. I heard that some schools in the UK were thinking of changing the term system to having six terms instead of the three. They also said that the Summer Holidays (six weeks on average) are too long. I don't know if they are going to go ahead with it though. I believe a couple of schools in Essex tried it. What I don't understand is how people say that school years are the best days of your life. I say the best years of my life were perhaps when I was under four.

I loved being young (before school). You'd be happy almost all the time, forget what you were crying about if you were unhappy, play all day, etc.
I think the Summer holidays are too long. Ours go from the end of June to mid-August which makes 7 weeks. Even if you go on holiday, there's still weeks and weeks of nothing. Hopefully I'll get a job this summer though.
I heard about the changing term-time thing too, with 2 week holidays between each term. A happy medium would probably be better.

I hate people who walk past my house, dumb twats. I'd be annoyed if they walked on my lawn, too.

Some of the school leavers from our town must have finished today as I saw a few of them with signed school shirts.

I remember at school that some of the school leavers use to get egged, floured or tomatoed or a mixture on their last day usually outside the school gates when they left at the end of it. Luckily I wasn't victim, but I and a few others were worried that we'd become victims. On my last day we finished early and could mingle in the youth club in the afternoon. I took my camera in and took photos of some of the others. What annoyed me was that when I took the film in none came out. I don't think I'd loaded the film properly, so it had no photos on it. So much for memories Hum.... I took a couple of someone I fancied at the time.

Well it didn't matter in the end due to them not even being taken in the first place, but yeah I got their permission, well from most of them apart from the ones I took secretly. A couple of them would've probably killed me had they have found out had the photos have actually been taken. Just an after thought, schools weren't so funny then about photos being taken. I do still have a few photos which I took during my last year at school, some or many of which would very likely not be allowed if I was planning on taking them now.
