in fact, the cookie will only be created if you click the "remember me" box. If you don't, it only use a SID.

Okay thanks. Just one more thing though, if I select for it to remember my username and password, and also click the "remember me" box I still have to for some reason type in my username and password each time I login. That was before I changed to cookie setting to delete cookies.

Post subject: Cookies (No not the one mama makes!)
I take it you have to enable cookies for you to stay logged in here! I tried selecting the "refuse all cookies" option, because I don't want cookies when I go to some sites. I tried the selecting the "Let me decide..." option, but got fedup of having to go through the options everytime I get a cookie popup. Anyway is there anyway I can select the "refuse all..." option, but stay logged in here or is there away I can select the refuse, but specify certain ones I allow? I hope that I made sense! I'm using Opera. Also I believe I'm using a firewall, if I am can the cookies be seen or read externally?
