Ogú and Mampato

has anyone here heard of this Chilean comic before?

The premise is similar to other comics around the world: a young boy, nicknamed Mampato (a Chilean expression equivalent to "shorty") helps an alien visitor and his people get rid of a perverse tyran and is given in reward a high-tech alien device in the shape of a belt, that allows him to travel through time and space. With this device, he goes to different places and different eras, getting to know historic characters and taking part in the defining events of history.

This comic has existed in Chile and South America since the late '60s, and recently (2002) they made it into the very first animated movie made in that country.
