It looks as if there are so many good ones coming this year! I'm anticipating 30 Rock (the one with Tina Fey and Rachel Dratch from SNL), Ugly Betty, Heros, I really want this to be the year I actually get into shows. Last year, everyone would be like "OMG, did you see Lost last night!?!?!" I never keep up with watching shows (unless they are REALLY good, like I was OBSESSED with Nip/Tuck last year).

Any shows your looking foward to? Sourire

Even though the 'biggest' shows come in the Autumn over here, they usually come in the form of one-off dramas, miniseries and 6 episode sitcoms Rire
But as for US shows, I like the look of Ugly Betty and the CW's show Runaway. I know Ugly Betty is airing here fairly soon, but I'm not sure about Runaway. I need something to fill the gap Everwood will probably make soon!

That's what I love about the show... how much time they take in setting everything up. I'm sure it'll all pay off one day. Clin d'oeil

If you're going to watch LOST this year, be sure to go back and watch the first couple seasons. If you don't, you'll be pretty confused.

... And a lot of stuff was explained in the season finale last year. Now we know that everytime the magnetic charge changes directions, it's getting tracked somewhere (the two guys in Siberia, perhaps). We now know that the button MUST be pressed.

Lost was one of those shows I just couldn't follow. My mom's still trying to, but I gave in season one. I just don't really have any interest for the concepts of the show, although that black mist cloud was really cool Tire la langue

Well, for what's coming out this fall, I'm looking forward to: Heros (saw the advert just a few minutes ago, gotta love the concept Sourire ), season premiere of House MD, the Avatar: the Last Airbender special coming out on Sept. 13, and probably a few others U can't think of right now.

For Lost, it can "get Lost" for all I care, and this rash of "overly done romance/action-adventure cop stuff" is kind of just a turnoff to me. There are only so many way they can make a CSI/Law & Order knockoff before it gets tiring. Confused

Oh well, there's stuff to look forward to, and stuff to avoid completely. To each is own Tire la langue

I'm not the only one who managed to get lost during the first series other than my mum. My dad of course as usual has been the total opposit. When they pilot was about to air over here, my dad kept going on about it and how much he was looking forward to it. His description made it sound really boring. But then my dad is really into that sort of stuff.

LOST is AWESOME!! I am so pumped for season 3. The scheduling stinks for it. Airing six weeks in a row and then going on hiatus till the first week of february is not making me happy.

Yeh, but isn't 17 episodes in a row without any breaks a good move for the fans? Rire

Sounds to me like you're developing a goodybag fetish since winning Have Nick Your Way!
